Our Legacy and Foundations
Kingdom’s Gate Church began as a foundational Bible study in Andrews, Texas, birthed from a burning vision inside the heart of its founder, Dan Galloway. Dan carried a profound, uncompromised mandate to see biblical ministry fully operational within the local body, operating out of a passion to see the fivefold ministry functioning properly just as the scripture outlines.
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." — Ephesians 4:11-12
His ultimate desire was to see the early church model of the Book of Acts truly come alive, creating an atmosphere where everyone had a seat at the table and functioned seamlessly as one unified body with uniquely distinct spiritual giftings.
Central to Dan’s life and teaching was an unwavering conviction in the absolute power of forgiveness. He firmly believed that for the body of Christ to advance strategically, believers must actively let go of personal offenses and choose to labor together in covenant love. Acting on this pioneer vision, Dan began establishing strategic pathways by connecting the house with prominent, globally recognized ministers.
Some people might have looked at the humble beginnings of the ministry and thought, "What good can come from Andrews, Texas, this dry desert land?" This closely mirrors the skepticism found in scripture: "And Nathanael said to him, 'Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?' Philip said to him, 'Come and see'" (John 1:46). But lo and behold, the Lord has used this gateway to gather many notable ministers and generals of the faith to Andrews.
What originally began as an intimate Bible study group quickly intensified under a heavy weight of glory, maturing into a fully established, actual physical church and the formal launching of Kingdom’s Gate Apostolic Center. Shortly after pioneering this gateway, Dan passed away suddenly to be with the Lord, and his beloved wife followed him into glory not long after.
The Passing of the Torch
Though its founders graduated to their heavenly reward, the mantle and assignment of Kingdom’s Gate remained alive. The spiritual torch was seamlessly passed to Kyle and Melissa Hooper, long-term leaders from Andrews, Texas, who stepped into the role of Lead Pastors. Walking alongside them in governmental order are Sonny and Claudette Webb, who serve faithfully as Church Elders, ensuring the house remains anchored in scriptural truth, protection, and operational integrity.
Today, Kingdom’s Gate thrives as a warm, small local church community and an old fashioned apostolic training hub dedicated to hosting the presence of God and preparing believers for the work of the ministry.
Strategic Ministry Alliances
Kingdom's Gate operates in close covenant alignment with key external ministry partners to maximize regional and global impact.
Dr. Larry Lea is a pioneering televangelist, pastor, and author widely known for his international best-selling book, Could You Not Tarry One Hour?, which revolutionized global perspectives on daily prayer models. During his early ministry, he famously led the Church on the Rock in Rockwall, Texas, seeing the congregation grow from a dozen people to over five thousand members in just five years. He later expanded his assignment to lead global "Prayer Clinics" and television broadcasts focused on spiritual breakthrough, personal transformation, and anchoring life in the structural keys of the Lord’s Prayer.
Dr. Negiel Bigpond is a full-blood Euchee Indian and a fourth-generation minister of the gospel who has spent over thirty years traveling as an evangelist and pastor. He serves as the Apostle of Morning Star Church of All Nations and has preached across more than 140 Native American reservations. Recognized by Charisma Magazine as one of the top ten most influential Christian leaders of 2006, Dr. Bigpond worked extensively with U.S. lawmakers in Washington D.C. on a joint resolution of apology to Native peoples, and his ministry focuses heavily on corporate intercession, spiritual warfare, and healing the land.
Dr. Ron Charles is a distinguished archaeologist, ancient history scholar, and the founder of the CUBIT Foundation. Holding a PhD in ancient history and a ThD in historical theology, he has spent more than forty years investigating biblical antiquities across dozens of countries to bring historical clarity and apostolic weight to the Word. Known for his extensive humanitarian aid and water purification projects across five continents, his deep research in New Testament and Roman-era history works to authenticate the scriptural integrity of the life of Jesus.
Brant Fricker is a prominent media executive, content creator, and television host well-known throughout the region for anchoring programs on God’s Learning Channel TV (GLC), including the show Word on the Street and Watchers. With a media production and broadcasting career spanning over three decades, his kingdom networking focus centers on media evangelism, creative content direction, and strategic ministry advancements. His work bridges local church bodies across West Texas and beyond to build operational unity and expand the reach of the gospel.
Cher Butler is a alliance partner who serves as the President of I Will Not Keep Silent Ministries, Bound No More Deliverance Ministry, as well as the Apostolic Overseer of Forged in Fire Church in Dumas, Texas. In addition to her ministry leadership, she is an author and business consultant, bringing strategic alignment to both the ministry and marketplace sectors. In addition, Cher transitioned from being a frequent guest on God’s Learning Channel TV to her current broadcasting roles. She now anchors regional and national programming as a host on Light of the Southwest and co-host of the television show Watchers alongside Brant Fricker.

The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. We confess His virgin birth, sinless life, divine miracles, His substitutionary death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His present exaltation at the right hand of the Father.

The Cross and Salvation of Man
We believe that humanity voluntarily fell into sin, causing spiritual separation from God. Salvation is a free gift of grace received solely through deep repentance and personal faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

The Fivefold Ministry and Church Government
We believe the early church was built on the Fivefold Ministry, and that Christ continues to give these active offices today, which include Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, to govern, equip, and mature the corporate body until it reaches full unity.

Holy Water Baptism and Communion
We practice the ordinances established by Jesus: Water Baptism by immersion as a public declaration of dying and rising with Christ, and Holy Communion as a corporate memorial of His broken body and shed blood.
